Barbell Upper Body

Tonight calls for a little backstory before we jump in. I was scrolling through Facebook on my morning break at work. A memory popped up in my feed which was a picture of me from either 2016 or 2018, it doesn't really matter. I was so disgusted to see how far backwards that I've rolled. I know that life marches on and that we can't stay young forever, but Gods, it made me so upset to see how I've failed. I've failed myself and my Gods. I got some much-needed moral support from some friends and that was the push I needed to get moving tonight. When Frank came home, we motivated down to the dungeon and got some upper body work in. Here's what we did:
INCLINED BENCH:

BARBELL BENT ROW:

(I'm going to guesstimate that the bar alone was about 10lbs)

I found this workout this afternoon when I googled upper body workout. You can find the entire write-up here. I liked it. My shoulders are tired, and I know I'll need to take a couple ibuprofens before bed, but I feel good. We're trying to come up with a good schedule for us, something that we can stick to and something that will give us results. Now I need to go get some food. I didn't plan anything, but we always have eggs, so it may be an omelet night. At this point, I'll eat anything.
