Fully Equipped

Today, I did some more carries out in the field. It was a wee bit cooler and less humid than last time, so that was a plus. I also had company today. Emily came out to keep me company but ended up being a useful piece of equipment!
As always, any weights given are per hand. I've also included the pictures again with the distances I went. (In case you're keeping track lol)

35lb Farmers Carries to top of hill. Rest about 30 seconds. Farmers Carries back.
35lb Waiter/Suitcase carry combo to gravel road. Switch hands, come back.
35lb KB deadlifts x10
35lb Double Racked trot to gravel road, turn (no rest) trot back.
(100lb sandbag lift/drop) x3

This last set is where I used Emily as some equipment. I think she weighs about 110lbs.
Piggybacked Emily up to the top of the hill, put her down & rested about 30 seconds, carried her back.
35lb Double Waiter's carry to gravel road, rest about 30 seconds, come back.
(100lb sandbag backwards drag to gravel road, turn. Drag bag behind me back to start.) x2
Emily+Sandbag (210lbs) backwards drag to the second guidewire, turn, drag behind me back to start.

•••••••••••
I have a sled and I was going to take that out today, but honestly, I didn't feel like dragging that and all of my plates out back and then having to bring everything back in. So, I made use of my sandbag, my daughter and the dog's leash. I was pleasantly surprised when Em agreed to come keep me company. It gets a little boring when I'm out there by myself. I started today with a lousy attitude, and everything was kind of falling apart this afternoon. Once I got my music going and settled down, it was a nice release to get out there and sweat. As usual, there are no regrets after the workout.
