I didn't make much progress over last week, in fact, I technically fell short by 2 days if I wanted to progress. I worked out twice last week, only once this week. Oh well. I can only try for more in the upcoming week.
I was scrolling the 'ol FB feed and I came across this video from a fitness website. Minimal equipment - only 2 dumbbells, and it was a full body workout. I decided to give it a go, after all, I have a full body and it needs to be worked out. I don't think my knees will be very happy tomorrow, but I need to start doing something for strength. The video can be found here and here's the written breakdown of what I did:
3 Rounds of the following:
Squat into Curl into Front Raise:
10lb x10
Squat into Hammer Curl:
10lb x10 (2db)
RDL into Front Squat into Press:
10lb x10 (2db)
Table Top Plank Rows:
10lb x10 (2db)
Squat Pulse w/Jump:
10lb x10 (2db)
••••••••••
Everything was done with 2 db except the first movement. So simple, but oh so effective. Not going to lie even a little - the squats were not nearly as deep as they maybe should have been, but I'm thankful I could even do them. I was wrapped in knee sleeves, and I was still unstable. The only thing that will fix that is....CONSISTENCY.
As for right now, I'm tired and hungry. Peace out.
