That's Hot

Things have been a bit topsy-turvy as of late. Frank's dad was diagnosed with moderate Alzheimer's and to say that our lives have changed is an understatement. We travel to his house every weeknight to cook and eat dinner with him and get him hunkered down for the night. On the weekends, Frank brings him back here to spend the day with us and then we bring him home at night. Eventually, Frank will hopefully be home every day with him, but it won't be any less hectic. We're not really looking past the next couple of months right now. Hopefully, medication will slow any progression.
In the meantime, we're all adjusting and doing the best that we can. Quite frankly, I suppose I could work out at 8pm but I truly don't feel like it. Right now, I'm working out when I can and I'm OK with that.
I'm still doing the challenge, it's just probably not going to be the prescribed 2 days on, one day off. I'll keep at it until I hit 10,000. Here's tonight's work:
10,000 SWING KETTLEBELL CHALLENGE (35LB)
Each cluster tonight consisted of:
10 swings, 10lb triceps kickbacks x2
15 swings, kickbacks x3
25 swings, kickbacks x5
50 swings

STARTING TIME: 4:10pm

Cluster 1:
Time: 4:04 min
Rest: 3 min

Cluster 2:
Time: 4:05 min.
Rest: 3 min

Cluster 3:
???
I didn't hit start on my timer!
Rest: 3 min

Cluster 4:
Time: 4:35 min
Rest: 2 min

Cluster 5:
Time: 4:08 min

ENDING TIME: 4:42pm

Total time tonight was 32 minutes. I'm surprised by that because it definitely felt slower than that. It was 82° in the hallway and 81% humidity. I am a sweaty, stinking mess. I had 2 fans pointed at me and I still felt like I was on fire. It sucked. Don't ask me how I made it in 32 minutes. I screwed up the timer on cluster 3 because I didn't tap correctly on my touch pad.
I still haven't lost any significant weight. Sometimes the scale is down 5lbs, sometimes it's back up to my starting weight. What I have noticed is that my rolls are slightly smaller lol. Hey, I'll take any progress that I can get.
I've been intentionally staying away from any squat type movements to save wear and tear on my knees. They've been ok except for tightness in my left knee - it feels like someone poured super glue in it. It's also swollen on most days, but not so much that I can walk. Just another thing to be mindful of.
Although it was a tough go tonight, I'm glad that I did it. 4000 swings in the books.
